As announced in the First Break staff meeting this morning, the upcoming July 4th holiday falling on a Thursday presents unique challenges. At this point, we do not see business demands for the office or production to be open on Friday, July 5th, therefore we are planning for a company shutdown for July 5th.
Thursday, July 4th will still be a company holiday, and everyone will receive full pay for the day. Friday, July 5th will not be a paid holiday. Hourly employees may be able to work additional hours earlier in the week, or can schedule PTO to make up your wages.
