SUPPLY ORDER PROCESS

2018 Objective: Onboard two Supply Customers per month per sales person

Supply Order Process

1. Utilize existing order process as much as possible
2. Ask every customer who they currently buy their supplies from and ask if we can have the opportunity to earn their business. Ask for their current supply list, preferably with pricing
3. Try to get every supply customer registered with a DP online account. Utilizing the Supply Order Form, add products to the customer’s cart until they are happy with the list. This list will stay in their cart history. Make sure your name is entered into the Rep field so you get credit. Moving forward the customer can log into their account on the website for reorders or call in.
4. A Recurring Sales tab is in SalesPad. (IT is working on getting this working)
5. Salesperson enters “SUPPLIES ORDER” for any and all supplies or “SUPPLIES QUOTE” if quoting supplies
6. Remember, you could potentially could have an equipment order and supply order.  These should be two separate orders.
7. If a Part Number is not set up in Great Plains/SalesPad, use item # “SUPPLIES” and enter description with vendor and part#.
8. Purchasing will add part # to Great Plains and send PO to MedPlus
9. Reorders can be done through Dental Planet website or SalesPad
10. If Anesthetics, we must get doctor’s license # and DEA# – Must allow 48 hours for new customer verification
11. Supply Specialist (on sales team) will enter all online, Amazon and eBay supply orders that aren’t tagged to a rep. If supply order is tagged to a rep, then rep will enter that order
12. Supply order must be at least $100 for DP to waive $15 minimum order fee
13. Shipping for supply orders is $1 per pound. Shipping prices can be found online by product. A $6 handling charge is added to each online order
14. After the supply order is placed, an auto generated email will go out 30 days later as a reminder to reorder.
